Basically if it’s punks struggling with Slayer riffs and the word ‘Instinct’ in the name you are moshing.

This band have many axes to grind. Evidently not that fussed about spending money on production though!

There’s always been at least one great stinking old punk band in Bristol since UK82. Right now that’s this lot- don’t sleep on them!

Electro Hippies - Acid Rain
Career-blocking name aside, this fertile crusty ground is where Jeff Walker spawned his soul into physical form. Then left to join Carcass....

Caracss - Heartwork
Just ignore the solos and this is some pure stench shit yo. Carcass have all the hallmarks of stench - throaty vocals, loose drumming and genre-confused riffs. Carcass also have a massive career though so email me to say how death metal rules etc etc

Hellbastard - Deciever
Hellbastard are the band you form if you can just about play ‘reign in blood’ on guitar but your mate can’t afford good drum hardware.

Hellkrusher - Sick
They have the word ‘Hell’ in the name so going to be pretty sick I reckon. If ‘HELL INSTINCT’ doesn’t exist yet then watch this space.
